In accordance with the civil law principles of fairness, honesty, and good faith, we invite our valued customers to carefully read, accept, print, or save these general terms and conditions of sale before making purchases on the website.
These terms apply exclusively to the Italian territory and to all sales made through the website www.ceramichedigrottaglie.it. These terms may be updated at any time; therefore, the Customer is encouraged to review them periodically. The applicable terms are those in effect on the date of the order.
1 – Conclusion of the Contract
1.1 The online sales contract is deemed to be concluded in Italy and is governed by Italian law.
1.2 To complete the purchase, the Customer must fill out the electronic order form and submit it via the website. Before submission, it is possible to review and correct any errors.
Upon receipt of the order, CeramichediGrottaglie.it will send a confirmation email containing the order summary, product specifications, price, payment methods, shipping costs, and any right of withdrawal. The Customer is required to retain this email as proof of purchase.
2 – Purchase Procedures
2.1 The Customer may purchase products available on the website or request custom quotes (e.g., wedding favors, corporate gifts) at info@ceramichedigrottaglie.it, including for items not listed in the shop.
Product images are for illustrative purposes only: as these are unique handcrafted items, they may vary slightly in color, size, and finish.
2.2 Each order is identified by an “Order Number” to be used for any communications.
2.3 By submitting the order, the Customer declares that they have read and fully accepted these terms and conditions.
3 – Payment Methods
3.1 The following payment methods are accepted:

Bank transfer
The bank transfer must be made within 2 business days, indicating the order number. Shipping will occur only after the payment is credited (2–3 business days). If payment is not received within 7 days, the order may be canceled.
3.2 For invoicing purposes, the Customer must correctly enter tax information and a VAT number or Tax ID.
4 – Prices
4.1 Unless an invoice is requested, the sale is recorded as a daily transaction.
4.2 Prices are subject to change without notice, but the price applied is the one in effect at the time of the order.
4.3 All prices are expressed in Euros and include VAT.
5 – Shipping
5.1 Delivery is made via a courier selected based on the area and volume. All products are insured until delivery.
5.2 In the event of force majeure, the Customer will be notified via email.
5.3 Risk transfers to the Customer upon physical delivery of the goods.
5.4 Upon delivery, the Customer must verify the integrity of the package and the number of packages. In case of anomalies, the Customer may refuse delivery or accept it with reservation, specifying the reason.
Any damage must be reported within 5 days to supporto@ceramichedigrottaglie.it.
6 – Delivery Times
6.1 In-stock products: shipping within 3 business days.
6.2 Made-to-order products: production takes 2 to 6 weeks, with shipping within 3 days of availability.
7 – Shipping Costs
7.1 Shipments are insured.
7.2 The cost is calculated automatically based on weight and dimensions. For international or bulky orders, a quote will be provided.
7.3 Any additional services are excluded and will be communicated in advance.
8 – Warranty and Handcrafted Nature
8.1 The products are handcrafted: any imperfections are characteristic of manual production.
8.2 We are not liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of the products.
9 – Right of Withdrawal
Legislative Decree No. 21/2014 – Legislative Decree No. 206/2005 – “Consumer Code”
9.1 – Customers who have purchased products through the CeramichediGrottaglie.it website have the right to cancel the contract entered into with CeramichediGrottaglie.it, without penalty and without providing a reason, within 14 (fourteen) business days from the date of receipt of the goods.
The right of withdrawal may be exercised by expressly stating the intention to withdraw via email to info@ceramichedigrottaglie.it or by regular and/or priority mail to the following address: CeramichediGrottaglie.it of VADO Service srls, with registered office at Via Flacco No. 15, 74023 Grottaglie (TA).
If you have a certified email account (PEC), you may write to vado@pec.vadoservice.com. CeramichediGrottaglie.it will confirm via email that it has received the notice of withdrawal, regardless of the method chosen to communicate the exercise of the right of withdrawal.
The following provisions apply to the exercise of the right of withdrawal:
a) The Customer has a period of 14 (fourteen) business days from the date of receipt of the goods to declare their intention to return the items.
b) Within 14 (fourteen) business days from the date of notification of the intention to withdraw, the Customer must ship the purchased products to the CeramichediGrottaglie.it address of VADO Service srls at Via Flacco No. 15, 74023 Grottaglie (TA) at Via Flacco No. 15, using a carrier of their choice and at their own expense, ensuring the traceability of the goods subject to return.
c) The Customer must, within 14 (fourteen) business days from the date of notification of the intention to withdraw, provide proof of shipment of the goods subject to withdrawal by sending, via email to info@ceramichedigrottaglie.it, the proof of shipment and the package tracking code.
d) The provisions regarding the right of withdrawal do not apply to contracts involving a purchase price of less than 50 euros. (Art. 47 of Legislative Decree 21/2014).
e) The supply of goods made to measure or clearly personalized is excluded from the right of withdrawal. (Art. 59 of Legislative Decree 21/2014).
9.2 – A necessary condition for exercising the right of withdrawal is that the product to be returned remains substantially intact. The Customer is held responsible for any decrease in the value of the goods resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. The products must not be damaged and/or altered; they must be in perfect condition, accompanied by all accessories, and properly packaged in their original packaging or in another suitable container to preserve them. Once the product is received, CeramichediGrottaglie.it reserves the right to assess its condition and to proceed with a refund only if the product is found to be in perfect condition. The Customer must include in the package a copy of the order confirmation and a copy of the tax document (invoice or shipping document).
9.3 – The refund to the Customer of the amounts paid (product price and shipping costs) will be credited by CeramichediGrottaglie.it within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of the withdrawal notice submitted by the Customer, using the same payment method used by the Customer in the initial transaction, unless the Customer expressly requests otherwise. The value date of the refunded amount will be the same as the date of the original charge. For the purposes of the refund, the Customer must provide proof of shipment of the returned item by sending an email to info@ceramichedigrottaglie.it containing confirmation of shipment and the package tracking code.
9.4 – In the case of a product consisting of multiple units forming a set, the return must be made in a single shipment.
Failure to comply with the above conditions renders the return invalid and does not give rise to any refund.
10 – Suspension of Service
10.1 – CeramichediGrottaglie.it reserves the right to temporarily suspend, without any obligation to provide prior notice, the provision of services in order to carry out technical interventions necessary and/or appropriate for the purpose of improving the quality standards of said services.
10.2 – CeramichediGrottaglie.it has the right to suspend the provision of the service for security reasons or due to breaches of confidentiality, subject to prior notification to the user.
11 – Provision and Processing of Personal Data
11.1 – The new General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679) on privacy protection has been in effect since May 25, 2018. We invite our valued customers to review the privacy policy and cookie policy available on the website. CeramichediGrottaglie.it will process customers’ personal data to manage existing business relationships (sending quotes, order notes, shipment tracking codes, etc.). Informational and promotional emails are sent only after the customer has provided explicit consent. Customers may also receive emails and SMS or WhatsApp messages containing informational and/or promotional content, with the right to revoke their consent for this purpose at any time.
12 – Intellectual Property
12.1 – The content of CeramichediGrottaglie.it, including, by way of example: works, images, photographs, music, sounds, videos, documents, drawings, figures, logos, and any other material, in any format, published on the CeramichediGrottaglie.it website, including menus, web pages, graphics, colors, schemes, tools, fonts, and the website’s design, diagrams, layouts, methods, processes, functions, and software, are protected by copyright and all other intellectual property rights of CeramichediGrottaglie.it. The following are expressly prohibited: reproduction, even partial; modification; duplication; distribution; sale; or any other exploitation of the images and, more generally, the contents of the Site for any purpose pursued by the user, without the prior written authorization of CeramichediGrottaglie.it, the holder of said exclusive rights. Any use of the Site’s contents for commercial and/or advertising purposes is also prohibited.
13 – Jurisdiction
13.1 – For the resolution of any dispute arising from this contract (validity, interpretation, performance, and termination) and concerning the relationship between the Customer-Consumer and CeramichediGrottaglie.it of VADO Service Srls, the court with exclusive territorial jurisdiction is the court of the place of residence or domicile of the consumer.
13.2 – In the event of disputes concerning the validity, interpretation, performance, and termination of this contract that fall outside the scope of application of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) referred to above, the Court of Taranto shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
14 – Online Dispute Resolution
14.1 – As of February 15, 2016, consumers residing in Europe may use the ODR (Online Dispute Resolution) web platform accessible at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/ for dispute resolution. This tool allows consumers to resolve, out of court, any dispute relating to contracts for the sale of goods entered into online.
